Telegram, a rival to WhatsApp’s instant messaging service, just released an update, it claims will improve the app’s usability and add new capabilities. New features have been added to Telegram, an instant messaging platform, like hidden media, new drawing tools, profile pictures for your friends, and more.
Here are all the new features that Telegram will be getting with the most recent update:
Hidden Media
Users can add a shimmering overlay to photographs and videos to blur them using the hidden media function. Your intended audience only needs to tap once to end the spell and view the content. You must first access the attachment menu and then choose one or more items to use this feature. Now click the “three dots” icon and select “Hide with Spoiler” from the menu that appears.
Zero Storage Usage
Telegram may not take up much room on your device. Any files on Telegram can always be downloaded again after being removed from your phone’s storage. With this update, you may customize the auto-remove settings for cached media from Private Chats, Groups, and Channels while making exceptions for specific chats. The updated pie charts make it simpler to understand what’s taking up space, and dedicated tabs for Media, Files, and Music make it simple to remove the heaviest items.
New Text and Drawing tools
Telegram’s most recent version has more text and drawing options. Your lines are automatically smoothed by drawing tools, which also dynamically change line width in response to drawing speed.
A new blur tool is available to cover up private information (or photobombers), and there are five high-precision options to select colors, including the Eyedropper tool. Additionally, users have the option of altering the background, font type, and size when adding text to images and videos.
Photo for your contacts’ profiles
While modifying your contacts, you can choose a picture for them; no one else will be able to view it on their profile. You can suggest an appropriate profile photo to your connections.
Group members Privacy
Strong anti-spam tools can be used to keep large groups spam-free, but some organizations may also want to protect their members from unwanted personal messages. Group managers can now choose to conceal the member list for groups with more than 100 members. In this way, only the admins will be aware of users’ presence if they don’t message the group.
We hope that these new cool features will add some meaning in your daily Telegram Usage. Please visit our website for regular tech updates.
