Lenovo to Launch AR Glasses For Consumers.

Lenovo has finally announced its augmented reality (AR) glasses for consumers. Names as Lenovo Glasses T1, these new AR wearables were revealed at the IFA and on the company’s virtual showcase. Along with the glasses, Lenovo also introduced thirteen new devices including

The glasses come with Micro OLED displays. The glasses can easily operate with Windows, macOS, iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Other notable features of the Lenovo Glasses T1 include the following:

  • A crisp display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels
  • A fast refresh rate of 60 Hz
  • A peak brightness levels
  • A TUV Rheinland certification in consideration for flashing and low blue light output

Coming to design, the company has put a lot of focus on comfort. The smart glasses feature adjustable temple arms, soft nose pads, and adjustable hinges. They are extremely lightweight and easy to wear.

According to Lenovo, the high-resolution display will appeal to consumers who are looking to play games or stream video content on the go. Moreover, to offer enhanced privacy, the AR glasses come with a head-mounted display to enable users to view sensitive information like bank records and other documents in public without any issues.

Lenovo will also offer a full-fledged kit along with smart AR glasses. The Lenovo T1 kit will include accessories like a cleaning cloth, an anti-slip adapter, a carrying case, and a prescription lens frame.

Coming to the price, Lenovo is focusing to make smart glasses more affordable for the public. While the company hasn’t revealed the price details, it is anticipated that the Lenovo Glasses T1 will cost less than $500. They will be available in China and some other regions later in 2023.
