Step 3: Repeat the process on your new iPhone using the same Apple ID to log in: Select Photos under Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > and turn on Sync this iPhone.
Step 4: Choose either Optimize iPhone storage in step four. Download originals and keep them. Storage space is conserved with the first choice.
Using iTunes to transfer pictures
Here are the details to share your photos using iTunes.
Step 1: Launch iTunes after connecting your old iPhone to your computer.
Step 2: In iTunes, choose your iPhone and select Summary in the left column.
Step 3: In the right pane, select This computer under Backups, then click Back up.
Step 4: After turning on your new iPhone, the iOS Setup Assistant will give you the option to restore from an iTunes backup.
Step 5: Open iTunes on your computer and connect your new phone.
Step 6: In iTunes, choose your new iPhone and click Summary in the left pane before selecting Restore iPhone in the right pane. Click “Agree.” All of your images will be on your new iPhone once the process is complete.
