There will apparently be nine CPU cores in the Tensor G3 in a 1+4+4 configuration. Tensor G2 from last year featured a 4+2+2 core configuration.
According to reports, the new CPU will contain one Cortex-X3 core operating at 3.00 GHz, four Cortex-A715 cores operating at 2.45 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 cores operating at 2.15 GHz.
