GoDaddy: How to Change Your Hosting Provider A Step-by-Step Guide.

GoDaddy, the industry’s top domain registrar, is well known for playing this part. However, it is as crucial in the hosting web sector, offering various services like shared, WordPress, VPS, and even dedicated hosting. However, many GoDaddy customer testimonials complain that the business is awful at hosting services.

It is incredibly simple to use in terms of user experience and hosting control. While cPanel is also available, it aids in setting up a website via the local interface.

All I had to do to get everything set up was choose a domain, a data center, and, if I wanted, install WordPress. GoDaddy offers a one-click installation approach for a variety of apps. I installed WordPress and was ready to test it in less than two minutes.

To change your hosting provider to GoDaddy, start by retrieving your website files from the original host. You can use file transfer protocol (FTP) to download them to your local computer. Once you have the files, you can transfer the domain to GoDaddy from another registrar.

You’ll need to prepare your domain name at your current registrar before completing the transfer process. Once the domain is transferred, you can go to the management page for the domain name and use the “Manage” option to connect your hosting account to it.

After this, you’ll need to select “Edit Website” or “Edit Site” to upload the content from the FTP. Once you have uploaded the content, you can preview the website to make sure it looks as desired. Finally, you can change your domain name’s primary IP address or the nameservers to make the site live on GoDaddy. This change can take up to 48 hours to display internet-wide. After the changes are done, your website is officially hosted with GoDaddy
