Even while ASUS formally unveiled the ROG Phone 6D and its Ultimate model in September, it did not mention local pricing or availability. However, that has changed because we now know when these phones will be available locally and how much they will cost.
To quickly recap, the ASUS ROG Phone 6D and its Ultimate version resemble their Snapdragon counterparts most of the time from the outside. But, of course, the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Plus chipset makes them fundamentally different on the inside. The differences between RAM and storage sizes are slight but not particularly significant.
For instance, unlike the two variations that the Snapdragon model offers, the base 6D coming to our market will only have one combination of 12GB + 256GB. On the other hand, in comparison to the Pro model’s 18GB of RAM, the Ultimate has a 16GB + 512GB configuration. In the meantime, all the batteries have the same 6000mAh battery that supports 65W charging.
The 50MP + 13MP wide-angle + 5MP macro camera configuration is very well-known. The 12MP front camera is located on the top bezel.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6D will cost RM3499, while the Ultimate variant is priced at RM4999. Beginning on November 9, both will be accessible. However, both will only come in the Space Grey colour option.
Additionally, ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition will be arriving in Malaysia, according to ASUS Malaysia. In spite of similarities to the black base Snapdragon model, it turns out that the specifications of this special edition model are more similar to those of the 6D model. Instead, it will cost RM4799 and be available only on November 25.
