CN-GPS1 – The Canyon GPS Outdoor Trainer provides a full-sealed waterproof (IPX7) and large LCD wrist watch device, as well as GPS navigation function with a physical training system. It is developed for people who are in to outdoor sports, like running, hiking, biking, skiing or snow boarding, surfing, etc.You can see your performance based on: distance, speed rate, time, GPS location, etc. The training system offers you the possibility to define your performance by setting your training target time and alerts if you go above or below certain workout thresholds. The GPS navigation offers the finest precision due to the SiRF Star III chipset and WAAS/ENGOS support.The GPS functions let users map a location, mark a trace point, find a marked point and comes with backtrack mode. Via its USB interface, the GPS Outdoor Trainer can used as a GPS receiver for notebook users and the firmware is upgradeable. Powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion cell, battery life is claimed at 16 hours with GPS on and 70 hours with GPS off.
